Coromandel has a single grass runway with hills rising to the south east. Takeoffs on runway 12 are prohibited due to the hils.

Parakai is located to the north of Helensville and is a strip for light general aviation and sport aircrafts.

Taupo is a small aerodrome that has a very active parachute drop zone. It's close to the eastern side of Lake Taupo.
NZLX – Alexandra Aerodrome.
Alexandra is located in the very heart of Central Otago, about 3/4 of the way down the South Island of New Zealand.
NZRO – Rotorua Aerodrome
Rotorua is one of New Zealand's tourist stops. The airport has a medium volume of light aircrafts during the day and is controlled by a tower.
