Free weather could save your life!

How often do you take notice of the weather when you go flying? If you didn’t answer “Always” then perhaps it is time you rethink your obligations as a pilot.

A few years ago the CAA announced the introduction of MetFlight-GA a free weather service for general aviation and professional pilots. This service instantly gave anyone who held a pilots licence to gain access to the service.

Service URL: http://metflight.metra.co.nz/

To login you can use your pilot licence certificate number as your username and the issue date as your password. This service can be accessed from any computer connected to the internet and is perfect for pilots who like to travel with their mobile broadband.

More information about this service can be found using the link above. Grab your licence and give it a try.
