Jetstar to fly in New Zealand.

Budget airline Jetstar is looking for a team of up to 250 people in New Zealand.

Budget airline “Jetstar” have started looking for up to 250 new pilots, cabin crew and ground staff as they expand into New Zealand.

The Qantas owned company is based in Christchurch and will shortly be adding more flights between Australia and New Zealand to its schedule.

The Dominion Post reported chief executive Bruse Buchanan as saying 100 staff would be added in the first wave 65 being based in Christchurch.

Jetstar would add more aircraft to its fleet during the year and said it would need another 150 staff.

Air New Zealand declined to comment on the increased competition in the market.
