Christchurch tower complete.

Construction of the Airways Tower is now complete and it has been operational for a month.

The tower is the tallest air traffic control tower in New Zealand and has breathtaking 360 degree views across to the city and the Southern Alps.

Combined with the dramatically extended views of the runways, its leading edge technology has increased the safety margins for air traffic control in Christchurch.

NASA Hosts Green Aviation Summit.

NASA has a “critical responsibility” to the flying public to develop environmentally responsible solutions to the nation’s most pressing aviation problems, Administrator Charles F. Bolden Jr. said Wednesday.
