Glider crashes into electric fence.

The pilot of a glider that crashed into an electric fence this afternoon is in a stable condition in Waikato Hospital.

Police told NZAviation.com that the accident happened around 4pm in a paddock in Kaikahu Road, Hauraki plains.

Emergency services had to free the pilot from the wreckage before he could be airlifted to hospital.

It is unknown if the pilot was electrocuted.
