[8 June 2010] [2,095 views] [No Comment]

When you think about commercial airline careers you think about pilots and maintenance but there is another aspect of flying that isn’t mentioned as much.

Flight attendants form a part of the aircrew that is required to set and maintain high standards of service and safety.  They take control of the cabin giving the pilots up the front one less thing to worry about.

To be a flight attendant you have to be a people person, after all you’ll be working with all sorts of passengers every day.

Air New Zealand is currently providing a Zero Fees course, run over four days that teaches students the basics of being a flight attendant.

Wile this course probably won’t get you your first job within the airline it will give you as a new entrant to this industry an better understanding of what will be required in the future if you are serious about following the path to become a flight attendant.

Check out their website for more information!
