Fly Direct goes into liquidation.

The start up company Fly Direct Limited has been placed into liquidation before it even started. The company had plans to market direct flights from Christchurch to Wanaka over the coming ski season.
Their website was closed down and a message was posted to advise customers of their demise.
“We regret to advise that Fly Direct Ltd was placed into liquidation at 12pm on Tuesday June 2. The liquidators are Waterstone Insolvency…”
The 3news.co.nz website reported that around 500 people had signed up for packages offered by the company whom will most likely be out of pocket.
Jeffery James Key is listed as the companies sole director and wasn’t available for comment.
