It’s at nearly gross weight before the pilot steps in and can only fly for 15 minutes, but that’s not the point. Sikorsky Innovations sees the Firefly as a testbed for the technologies that may make for a real electric helicopter.

NZCX – Coromandel Aerodrome.
Coromandel has a single grass runway with hills rising to the south east. Takeoffs on runway 12 are prohibited due to the hils.
NZLX – Alexandra Aerodrome.
Alexandra is located in the very heart of Central Otago, about 3/4 of the way down the South Island of New Zealand.
NZAA – Auckland Aerodrome.
Auckland is the gateway airport to New Zealand. This airport caters mostly for commercial domestic and international traffic.
