The small satellite, with a big mission, is appropriately named “Firefly.” Sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the pint-sized satellite will study the most powerful natural particle accelerator on Earth — lightning.

NZAP – Taupo Aerodrome.
Taupo is a small aerodrome that has a very active parachute drop zone. It's close to the eastern side of Lake Taupo.
NZCX – Coromandel Aerodrome.
Coromandel has a single grass runway with hills rising to the south east. Takeoffs on runway 12 are prohibited due to the hils.
NZAA – Auckland Aerodrome.
Auckland is the gateway airport to New Zealand. This airport caters mostly for commercial domestic and international traffic.
