A New Zealand company, CROSSCHECK SYSTEMS LTD, has developed and launched a product for all pilots that delivers peace of mind on every flight.

Born of the need to move away from paper checklists and their limitations, CROSSCHECK is a 4-sided rotor that contains all the critical flight items in short checklists.

The rotor turns through 30-degree détentes, 3 clicks from face to face, and is mounted in a cradle above a row of toggle switches used to tick off items as they are completed. The unit attaches on top of the aircraft dash with Velcro, easy on, easy off, keeping your eyes up and out, maintaining situational awareness.

The sequential checklists run from Pre-Start right through to Clean Up and Shutdown and include Emergency Procedures – Forced Landings.

The compact CROSSCHECK unit easily fits all aircraft. Independent of the aircraft systems, it requires no power supply nor batteries.

It comes with Velcro pads and laminated paper checklists that explain the steps behind each check item Designed for recreational private pilots, CROSSCHECK is also a valuable tool for trainee pilots, helping develop solid checklist habits.
